Victorian papier-mache desk stand, late 19th c., shaped tray with parcel-gilt and mother-of-pearl inlaid scrolling foliates and Chinoiserie figures, gently curved edges framing divided interior with pen and ink receptacles, centering lidded compartment with landscape scene, on bracket feet, accompanied by two pens with painted floral spray, and two cut crystal inkwells, (one) inkwell lid present but detached at the hinge, approx 2.5"h, 14.75"w, 11"d, 3.75lbs
