Framed woodblock triptych on paper, "The Plum Tree, Oshuku (Oshuku-bai)," Toyohara Chikanobu (Japanese, 1838-1912), depicting the fable of the plum tree in the garden of poet Ki no Tsurayuki with his nightingale daughter at a spinning wheel and Emperor Murakami's court figures, three sheets housed in single frame, sheets with minor creasing, sight (each sheet): approx 13.5"h, 9"w, overall: approx 20"h, 36"w, 8.5lbs
