German Meissen porcelain figure, Parrot on a Stump, after the models by J.J. Kaendler (Johann Joachim Kandler, German, 1706-1775), modeled as a polychrome bird biting a rock, perched upon a twisted tree trunk with applied floral vines and various insects, including beetle, caterpillar and snail, blue crossed swords mark underfoot, incised number 20X, impressed mark 149, some typical small chips to applied foliates, tip of wing intact with minor glue restoration, approx 11.5"h, 6.5"w, 3.5"d, 2lbs
