Exceptional Renaissance Revival carved throne chair, Spain, 19th c., figural crest and finials on the highback, centering an embossed and painted leather panel within a heavily carved foliate and scroll surround, arms terminate in lion head handholds, embossed leather seat with polychrome fruit and foliates, stretcher base front rail centering a portrait roundel, all ending on paw feet, approx 61"h, 27"w, 23"d, seat height: approx 19"h
