(lot of 9) Collection of Indian sarees and embroidered textiles, various styles and designs, many appearing unused, including: (4) silk damask sarees, (one) retaining Tulsi Rachana tag, (2) purple two-piece set, with couched metallic thread embroidery and sequined trim, comprising (one) saree, (one) short-sleeved wrap top, (1) red saree, with gilt sequins and metallic floral motifs, (1) embroidered blue velvet textile, (1) handkerchief or napkin, largest: approx 180"l, 46"w, 16lbs total Provenance: Treasures from the vaults of a Dallas designer PLEASE NOTE: All of the textiles in this auction would likely benefit from a professional cleaning. Though we do not currently observe any major tears or losses, most are likely to have some staining, missing trim, and evidence of wear.
