English Georgian marquetry tea caddy, late 18th c./early 19th c., the rectangular case with navette form reserves, the lid centering a helmeted classical female figure accompanied by shield and lion, likely Britania, the facade inlaid with two perched birds, stringwork borders, interior lid with central sliding panel, concealing floral cutout, three lidded compartments below, with later lined bottom, approx 5"h, 9"w, 4.75"d, 2.25lbs
