English brass-bound walnut writing slope/ travel desk, 19th c., central cartouche with faint remnants of personalization, interior with gilt-embossed black leather writing surface, pen tray and ink receptacles, open storage to one end, the opposing compartment now fixed closed, with the original release catch having been glued in place and pull tab on panel removed, approx 6.5"h, 15.75"w, 9.5"d, 7.75lbs
