(lot of 2) Studio art sculptural pottery covered bowls, Vladimir Kanevsky (Ukrainian, American, b.1951) for Howard Slatkin, 20th c., each modeled as a naturalistically-rendered gourd, with raised stem and leaves, in a tonal green palette, raised mark VK for Slatkin underfoot, some typical small rim chips, including: (1) pumpkin-shaped gourd, approx 6.5"h, 6"diam; (1) of ovular form, approx 4.5"h, 5"w, 3.75"d; 2.25lbs total Provenance: Treasures from the vaults of a Dallas designer
