Marlin XXX Standard 1872 Pocket Revolver, mfg. 1873-1876,.30RF Short caliber, 3' tip up ribbed barrel marked at the top "XX Standard 1872 (hard to read), barrel marked at the left side "J.M. Marlin New Haven CT USA Patd July 1, 1873", five round fluted barrel, nickel finish brass frame, spur trigger, birds head butt, rosewood grips, serial number matched at cylinder rear, underside of left grip, left butt under grip, frame retains 75%-80% of nickel plating, other barrel is silver tone with dark spotting, grips good, action is good, bore semi-bright, dark spots and worn rifling, SN 3842 *ANTIQUE*
