(lot of 3) Fine French Napoleon III period silvered bronze mantel clock and garniture set, late 19th c., with bronze dore mounts, enameled reserves depicting court ladies and children, among chinoiserie flowers and architectural motifs, including: (1) mantel clock, shaped case with inset curved porcelain plaques, surmounted by a foliate finial and dual elephant mask handles, centering dial with Roman numeral hour markers, time-and-strike movement marked Japy Freres, rising on turned-form feet and branch-form supports, time movement observed operating, runs fast, lacking pendulum, approx 13.75"h, 10.25"w, 6"d; (2) cassolette-form garnitures, approx 12.75"h, 4"w, 3.75"d; 16.25lbs total
