English Egyptian Revival silverplate standish, Roberts & Belk Ltd., late 19th/ early 20th c., rectangular top with three-quarter twist gallery, framing two glass inkwells, with gadrooned metal covers, separated by central lidded compartment surmounted by recumbent sphinx, with pen tray, and repousse trim with floral swag motifs, rising on decorative shaped feet, maker's mark underfoot, approx 6"h, 10.75"w, 7.5"d, 4lbs
