(lot of 3) Large French Napoleon III period slate mantel clock and garniture set, late 19th c., comprising: (1) drum head mantel clock, having shaped case with incised scrollwork motifs, centering enameled white dial with open escapement, Roman numeral hour markers, time-and-strike movement marked S. Marti & Cie., on integral sloped plinth, retaining Horlogerie Godderis, Saint Idesbald, Belgium retailer's label at access door interior, accompanied by pendulum, broken suspension spring, not currently operational, loss to trim at left side, glue repair with visible hairline and small chip at upper right side, approx 19"h, 27.25"w, 6"d; (pair) tazza garnitures, approx 12.5"h, 7.5"w, 5.5"d; 80lbs total
