French Louis XVI style carved mahogany settee, 19th c., having triple-arch back with lyre-form and torch splats, spaced by fluted spindles, caned seat accompanied by a cushion in a chinoiserie silk damask upholstery, rising on tapered legs, joined by fluted stretcher with beaded trim, ending on arrow feet, segmented bead loss along seat edge, minor glue repairs to splat, approx 37.25"h, 46.75"w, 20.5"d, seat height with cushion: approx 20"h, without cushion: approx 16.5"h Provenance: the contents of a retired Wall Street executive's lakeside compound
