Italian Renaissance Revival carved walnut display bookcase, late 19th c., having stepped cornice with grotesque frieze, above dual glazed cabinet doors, revealing fixed-height shelving and upholstered back, the lower case fitted with false drawer and dual cabinet doors, opening to fixed-height shelf, carved with protruding masks and half figures, foliate scrollwork, and fruit motifs, rising on paw feet, small chip to rightmost paw foot, trim loss to upper case at bottom left edge, approx 88.75"h, 52.5"w, 19.5"d
