Religious relic of Saint Placidus (Placid), framed by faux pearls and couched metallic thread embroidery, encased in a sealed gold-tone metal altar reliquary, having pierced floriform frame, with bezel-set white and pink rhinestones, rising on knopped and reeded standard, ending on circular foot with beaded trim, sight: approx 1 3/8"diam, reliquary: approx 6"h, 3.5"w, 2 3/8"d, 212.8 grams (inclusive of all materials) Provenance: from the extensive collection of a long-time contributor of relics, Catholic church goods, and liturgical antiques NOTE: ALL JEWELRY & COIN LOTS REALIZING OVER $1,000 MUST BE PAID BY BANK WIRE
