French Renaissance style carved walnut buffet deux corps/ sideboard, 18th/ 19th c., paneling heavily carved with various biblical scenes, having molded cornice, over frieze with Book of Genesis narrative relief scenes of Adam and Eve, dual cabinet doors with scene of Judith and the beheaded Holofernes, the other depicting David and Archangel Michael, lower case fitted with two drawers with lion mask pulls, and two additional cabinets with figural scenes of a maiden, possibly Mary Magdalene traveling by boat to Provence, all cabinetry enclosing fixed-height shelving, rising on block feet, approx 73.75"h, 63.5"w, 26.5"d
