(lot of 2) Custom-upholstered lamp shades, fashioned from antique fabric fragments, including: (1) on metallic copper silk ground, with French script pattern on a diagonal axis, parchment-lined interior intact with hairlines, approx 9.25"h, 15"diam; (1) in designer damask upholstery, pale gold silk-lined interior, approx 9"h, 14.25"diam; 1.5lbs total Provenance: The collection of Kathryn V. Alexander, an antiques dealer and designer with over 20 years of experience operating shops in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Middleburg, Virginia. Kathryn retired in 2020 and now lives in Georgetown, Texas PLEASE NOTE: All of the textiles in this auction would likely benefit from a professional cleaning. Though we do not currently observe any major tears or losses, most are likely to have some staining, missing trim, and evidence of wear. Please assume that they are not in perfect condition and bid accordingly. Per our terms, there will be no condition reports and no refunds based on condition
