Umbrella or stick stand, c. 1970, having cylindrical form, with gilt-embossed foliate trim at rim and base, decorated with decoupaged wine and aperitif labels dated from 1950s-1960s, including Saint-Esprit Chateauneuf-du-pape, Moet & Chandon, Vouvray, and Campari, on a red-painted ground, interior sectioned into quadrants at base, ending on ball feet, approx 22.25"h, 10 5/8"diam Provenance: The collection of Kathryn V. Alexander, an antiques dealer and designer with over 20 years of experience operating shops in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Middleburg, Virginia. Kathryn retired in 2020 and now lives in Georgetown, Texas
