(lot of 2) Custom down-filled throw pillows, in designer upholstery attributed to Fortuny, in the "Mazzarino" pattern, featuring lion and floral urn motifs, tasseled, including: (1) with taupe silk backing, approx 23"l, 22"w, 7"d; (1) with aqua silk backing, scattered areas of loss to one side, approx 24"l, 16"w, 8"d; 5.5lbs total Provenance: The collection of Kathryn V. Alexander, an antiques dealer and designer with over 20 years of experience operating shops in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Middleburg, Virginia. Kathryn retired in 2020 and now lives in Georgetown, Texas PLEASE NOTE: All of the textiles in this auction would likely benefit from a professional cleaning. Though we do not currently observe any major tears or losses, most are likely to have some staining, missing trim, and evidence of wear.
