Continental hand-painted wallpaper two-panel folding screen, in the manner of Joseph Dufour et Cie and Jean Zuber et Cie, late 19th c., depicting battle scene in a forest landscape with central mulberry tree, Classical-style figures with spectators including cherubs in flight and a woman with a lyre, paper with scattered flaked paint losses, light staining/ discoloration, and several stable tears, each panel: approx 68.75"h, 20"w Provenance: The collection of Kathryn V. Alexander, an antiques dealer and designer with over 20 years of experience operating shops in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Middleburg, Virginia. Kathryn retired in 2020 and now lives in Georgetown, Texas
