Framed etching on laid paper, "Femme Nu Couchee (tournee a gauche)," signed in the plate lower right Renoir (Pierre-Auguste Renoir, French, 1841-1919), published in the "Gazette des Beaux-Arts," second edition, volume XXXVII. 1906-1907. partial "Strasbourg lily" crest with crown and fleur-de-lis watermark, sheet with taped hinging to matting, foxing and toning to sheet, sheet: approx 7.5"h, 10.75"w, plate: approx 5.5"h, 7.5"w, sight: approx 6.5"h, 9.25"w, overall: approx 23.25"h, 26"w, 4.5lbs Provenance: The collection of Kathryn V. Alexander, an antiques dealer and designer with over 20 years of experience operating shops in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Middleburg, Virginia.
