French Empire bronze dore figural mantel clock, early 19th c., surmounted by floral cornucopia and stacked wreaths, flanked by the Greek gods Psyche and Cupid, central white enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers, inscribed Ledure Bronzier a Paris (Pierre-Victor Ledure, 1783-1870), Hemon Hr. (Claude Hemon, fl.1770-1820), time-and-strike movement, silk thread suspension, movement striking on an interior bell, rising on platform base mounted with winged caryatids and scrolling foliates, acanthus leaf trim, further raised on bun feet, accompanied by key and unassociated pendulum, observed operating, in need of adjustment to keep good time, one figure lacking element in right hand, back access door not present, approx 22"h, 19"w, 7"d, 37lbs
