English Victorian carved oak hall stand, 19th c., having scrolled crest with central lion mask, flanked by mythical hybrid beasts, backboard heavily carved with foliated scrollwork and grotesque masks, issuing eight gilt-metal coat hooks, open paneling at sides framing beveled mirror plate, turned columnar supports on either side of umbrella rack with two metal drip pans, and central hinged storage compartment, rising on flattened bun feet, approx 90"h, 59.5"w, 19"d
