Patinated bronze maquette sculpture, "Coach Earl 'Red' Blaik," signed in cast G. Goodacre (Glenna Maxey Goodacre, New Mexico, Texas, 1939-2020), dated in cast 2001, numbered 7/ 25, on integral rectangular marble base with gilt title plaque, bronze: approx 13.5"h, 9"w, 11.5"d, overall: approx 15.5"h, 10"w, 13"d, 31lbs Note: Earl Henry "Red" Blaik (American, 1897-1989) was a decorated football player, college administrator and coach, most noted for his tenure as head coach of the United States Military Academy at West Point. A group of Blaik's pupils and athletes, along with his son Bob Blaik, commissioned this sculpture for the College Football Hall of Fame. Since 2015, the statue has resided at West Point
