(pair) Brass fireplace andirons, 20th c., each having pointed finial, over columnar-form body, rising on square-legged plinth, on an iron billet bar, approx 18"h, 8.25"w, 26"d, 34lbs total Provenance: The lifetime collection of Lynn Roth Jordan (Louisiana, Texas, 1943-2021). As an active member of the Austin Antiques Club for many years, Lynn was deeply embedded in the antiques community here in Austin. Her New Orleans upbringing in a family of collectors (many of the pieces come from her mother's estate), combined with her frequent trips to England, gave her a unique understanding of provenance, quality, and historical significance.
