(pair) Japanese gilt-bronze vases, each having flared rim and tall neck encircled by a contorting dragon in relief, the body with etched register of Buddhist emblems, and a pair of dragons flanking a flaming pearl motif among auspicious clouds, ending on round foot, six-character mark with wan symbol underfoot, rising on hardwood stands, (one) vase with shallow denting to rim and upper body, vase: approx 10"h, 6.5"diam, overall on stand: approx 12"h, 8.5lbs total Provenance: The lifetime collection of Lynn Roth Jordan (Louisiana, Texas, 1943-2021). As an active member of the Austin Antiques Club for many years, Lynn was deeply embedded in the antiques community here in Austin.
