English Georgian oak tilt-top table, late 18th c., having circular tabletop, on swiveling short columnar supports, raised on baluster-form standard, tripodal base ending on snake feet, later support wedge, top down: approx 28"h, 34"diam, top up: approx 46.5"h, 34"w, 24"d Provenance: The lifetime collection of Lynn Roth Jordan (Louisiana, Texas, 1943-2021). As an active member of the Austin Antiques Club for many years, Lynn was deeply embedded in the antiques community here in Austin. Her New Orleans upbringing in a family of collectors (many of the pieces come from her mother's estate), combined with her frequent trips to England, gave her a unique understanding of provenance, quality, and historical significance.
