(lot of 4) English chinoiserie-decorated Imari palette pitchers, 19th/ early 20th c., various makers and designs, each with maker's mark underfoot, including: (2) Mason's Patent ironstone, with polychrome pagodas and songbirds on white ground, (1) Davenport stone china, depicting phoenix and lotus blossoms, intact with star hairline underfoot and stable fracture at side, (1) having architectural motifs and geometric trim, eight-point star and initial T mark underfoot, intact with restoration to side, largest: approx 6"h, 7.5"w, 5.5"d, 4.5lbs total Provenance: The lifetime collection of Lynn Roth Jordan (Louisiana, Texas, 1943-2021). As an active member of the Austin Antiques Club for many years, Lynn was deeply embedded in the antiques community here in Austin. Her New Orleans upbringing in a family of collectors (many of the pieces come from her mother's estate), combined with her frequent trips to England, gave her a unique understanding of provenance, quality, and historical significance.
