(lot of 3) Silverplate service articles, late 19th/ early 20th c., including: (1) cruet set, Frank Mills and Company, Sheffield, ornate stand fitted with a mustard pot with hinged cover, salt and pepper shakers, three bottles with stoppers, stand marked underfoot, two stoppers have minute chips, approx 10"h, 10.5"w, 7.25"d; (1) sugar bowl, Mappin Brothers, Sheffield, topped by finial on hinged lid, over foliate scrollwork, marked underfoot, dent to body, approx 5.5"h, 5.25"diam; (1) ladle, Roger's Brothers, marked on stem verso, approx 13"h, 3.75"w, 3.5"d; 7lbs total Provenance: The lifetime collection of Lynn Roth Jordan (Louisiana, Texas, 1943-2021). As an active member of the Austin Antiques Club for many years, Lynn was deeply embedded in the antiques community here in Austin. Her New Orleans upbringing in a family of collectors (many of the pieces come from her mother's estate), combined with her frequent trips to England, gave her a unique understanding of provenance, quality, and historical significance.
