(lot of 11) French library shelf books, dictionaries and reference subjects, all with gilt-embossed leather binding, raised spine bands, most with marbleized covers and end pages, including: (6) "Encyclopedie Universelle Dictionnaire des Dictionnaires (Universal Encyclopedia Dictionary of Dictionaries)," under the direction of Paul Guerin, published by Libraries-Impremeries Reunies, Paris, 1892, volumes I-VI; (3) "Les Merveilles de la Science (The Wonders of Science)," by Louis Figuier, published by Librarie Furne, Paris, 1867-1870, (two) volume III, (one) volume I; (2) "Magasin D'Education et de Recreation (Education and Recreation Store)," published by Bibliotheque D'Education et e Recreation, Paris, 1881 and 1883; largest: approx 12.5"h, 10"w, 2.5"d, 67lbs total *PLEASE NOTE: All of the antique library shelf books in this auction are inherently fragile.
