Lot description
Southeast Asian inlaid giltwood temple architectural element, possibly a throne crest, likely Burmese (Myanmar), in the Shan (Yai Tai) dynastic style, arched frame with central peacock with fanned feathers flanked by robed devatas, and openwork scrolling foliates, inlaid throughout with colorless and mirrored glass tesserae, the reverse with later added wood supports, minor glue restoration to one end of arch, approx 24"h, 40"w, 2.5"d, 6.5lbs
