Fine English George III period mahogany urn-form knife box, early 19th c., with delicate herringbone and barber pole stringwork inlay, having turned finial, over lid with Adams style painted floral decoration, on telescopic stand, revealing five concentric tiers of cutlery storage, rising on integral socle, further raised on platform base and bracket feet, approx 29"h, 11"diam, 10.25lbs
