Photographic print and hand-written letter housed in a single double-sided frame, each bearing the signature of Charles William Eliot (American, 1834-1926), including: (one) photographic print of Charles Eliot, approx 9"h, 5 5/8"w; (one) letter on two double-sided sheets, written and signed by Charles Eliot, addressed to a Mr. White, pertaining to the subject of admissions, dated November 12th, 1884, each sheet: approx 8"h, 5"w; overall: approx 14.5"h, 22"w; all with toning and adhesive residue, 5.75lbs Note: Charles William Eliot was a distinguished American academic and served as the 21st president of Harvard University for sixty years, the longest term of any Harvard president
