Framed watercolor and gouache painting on board, Portrait of a Zuni Elder, signed lower right James Boren (James Erwin Boren, American, active in Texas and Oklahoma, 1921-1990), dated 1965, sight: approx 16 3/8"h, 12.5"w, overall: 28"h, 24"w, 8.25lbs Note: In 1965, Boren became the first art director of the National Cowboy Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He became a member of the Cowboy Artists of America in 1968. Provenance: The Tarrytown, Austin, Texas estate of Hal Starkey
