(lot of 2) Carved gemstone models of birds, both with some loss and repair, unmarked, including: (1) labradorite opal crane, attributed to Peter Muller (Swiss, active in Brazil, b.1952), opalescent crest feathers and orange beak of varied stones, gilt-metal legs and feet, perched on an integral clear quartz crystal base, overall: approx 5.75"h, 7"w, 6"d; (1) heron, quartz head and neck with a banded stone body, rising on silver-toned metal legs, mounted to integral pyrite base, intact with glue restoration at the neck, approx 4"h, 3.25"w, 1.25"d; 3.25lbs total Provenance: The Tarrytown, Austin, Texas estate of Janice Holliman Stanfield
