(lot of 2) Guilloche enamel vanity articles, 19th c., including: (1) French gilt-metal pill box, having hinged top with cobalt border, centering painted floral spray with teal trim, enclosing beveled mirror plate, cast acanthus leaf case, marked made in France underfoot, approx 3/8"h, 1.5"diam; (1) Continental framed silver (content unknown) miniature, central painted enamel plaque depicting a courting couple in wooded landscape, with male onlooker and reclining lambs, housed in a pierced frame with repousse scrollwork, stamped numerals 9698 to reverse, possibly marked sterling at easel back, sight: approx 1.75"diam, overall: approx 2.75"diam; 61 grams total (inclusive of all materials) Provenance: The Tarrytown, Austin, Texas estate of Janice Holliman Stanfield
