Framed French school miniature opaque watercolor painting, John Parker III (1772-1840), later 1st Earl of Morley, and his sister Theresa (1775-1856), later the Honorable Mrs. George Villiers, as children, with a landscape beyond, signed lower right Andres (?), after Joshua Reynolds (English, 1723-1792), vellum backing inscribed John et There/ Reynolds, 916, in a gilt-brass easel-back picture frame retailed by Stern Brothers, New York, sight: approx 4 7/8"h, 3 5/8"w, overall: 9 1/8"h, 6.75"w, 1.25lbs Note: the original portrait by Reynolds in the National Trust, Saltram Provenance: The Tarrytown, Austin, Texas estate of Janice Holliman Stanfield
