First-class (ex capillis) relic of Saint Therese of Lisieux (also known as "Little Flower of Jesus," born Marie Francoise-Therese Martin, France, 1873-1897), housed in a sealed theca reliquary with scalloped border, further encased in a liturgical gilt metal pax or osculatorium reliquary, having cross-form finial, above shaped back and protruding filigree frame, with scrolled handle to be held during the "Kiss of Peace" ceremony in Catholic Mass, case back of pax hallmarked 800 with partially obliterated maker's mark, theca: approx 1 1/8"diam, overall: approx 4"h, 3"w, 1.75"d, 102.9 grams (inclusive of all materials) NOTE: ALL JEWELRY & COIN LOTS REALIZING OVER $1,000 MUST BE PAID BY BANK WIRE
