Walbye, American, b.1941), dated 1984, numbered 2/ 30, rising on shaped wood plinth, bronze: approx 16"h, 22.5"w, 11"d, overall: approx 18"h, 39lbs Note: a larger-scale model of "High Plains Warrior" was among the first pieces purchased by the High Plains Arts Council for permanent installation in the Benson Sculpture Garden in Loveland, Colorado
