Colt Single Action Army Revolver, .45 caliber, mfg.1876 (see note below), nickel finish, 7.25" round barrel, blade front sight, single line address at barrel top, shell ejector rod and housing, six round fluted cylinder with an uppercase "R" within a circle inspection mark at rear face, two line patent date at left frame, pearlized grips, action is good, bore is bright with good rifling but some dark spots, *Note: This revolver has been poorly refinished making most letters and numbers difficult or impossible to read Cataloger could not ascertain full serial number except the first two numbers "26" at the frame and barrel lug, and could only read the first number under the ejector rod housing as an "8", butt with scratching and no visible SN, Proof house shows SN's beginning with "26" as mfg.1876.
