(lot of 2) Chinese carved and lacquered wood figural sculptures, including: (1) ancestral figure, seated on a ledge holding an offering cup and one raised arm, panel at reverse granting interior access, loss to hand, approx 9.5"h, 4 5/8"w, 3.5"d; (1) bodhisattva, likely a fragment of a larger structure, seated in padmasana upon lotus base, framed by halo of flames, rising on hardwood base, remnants of parcel-gilt decoration, woodworm, figure only: approx 9"h, 5"w, 3"d, overall on stand: approx 10"h, 5.5"w, 3.5"d; 2.25lbs total
