Travis, b.1809-died at the Alamo, March 6, 1836 as commander of the garrison), penciled at left artist proof, sight: 21"h, 26"w, overall: 36.75"h, 42"w, 21.25lbs Provenance: From the personal collection of The Honorable David Dewhurst (b.1945), who entered public service in 1998 when he was elected Texas Land Commissioner. He later served as 41st Lieutenant Governor of Texas from 2003-2015.
