Lot description
First-class (ex ossibus) religious relic of Saint Caesarius of Arles (c.468-542 AD), housed in a gilt metal theca reliquary, with scalloped pierced border, red wax seal with the Cardinal Clement Micara coat of arms verso, accompanied by certificate of authenticity issued by Cardinal Clement Micara, Divine Mercy Bishop of Veliterno, certificate dated December 30th, 1960, accompanied by colorless acrylic display stand, some small dislodged fragments contained in theca, overall: approx 1"diam, 5.3 grams (inclusive of all materials) NOTE: ALL JEWELRY & COIN LOTS REALIZING OVER $1,000 MUST BE PAID BY BANK WIRE
