(lot) Sketchbook, painting, and collection of unframed works on paper by Olin Herman Travis (Texas, 1888-1975), spiral-bound sketchbook including numerous graphite and charcoal sketches on paper, portrait studies, unfinished ink drawings, and landscape outlines, drawing on first page dated 1964, sketchbook: approx 14"h, 11"w, 0.75"d, together with: (1) oil on cardstock painting, "Sutherland as Lucia," signed Olin Travis lower right, titled and dated 1961, with additional title, date, and signature verso, approx 16"h, 12"w; the group with overall toning, foxing, small tears, and degradation commensurate with use and prolonged storage, 2.25lbs total Provenance: purchased at the Dallas estate sale of heirs of the artists Olin Herman Travis (Texas, 1888-1975) and Josephine Oliver Travis (Texas, 1908-1991)
