French crystal twelve-light chandelier, attributed to Baccarat, Paris, 19th c., now electrified, sectional baluster-form stem, parcel-gilt tiered canopies and bowl with white enamel painted flowers, issuing writhen s-shaped branches, decorated overall with pendant bells and cut spear prisms, contemporary wiring, approx 70"h, 45"diam, 154lbs Provenance: purchased in Paris c.1955 by Earl Curtis Hankamer, Sr. (1892-1980) and Lena Olive Miller Hankamer (1892-1978) and installed in their River Oaks mansion in Houston, Texas. Then by descent, installed in the historic James Raymond Johnson house in Austin, Texas in 1994. Professional restoration campaign by Illumafix Lighting in 2022
