English Victorian silverplate soup tureen and cover, marked for Hawksworth, Eyre & Company, Sheffield, retailed by Lambert & Company, Coventry Street, London, 19th c., domed cover with a leaf-capped reeded loop handle, above the body with beaded rim, pair of bracket handles with graduated beading, on four scroll legs, cover and body engraved on one side with crest of a demi-lion rampant holding a crescent, approx 10"h, 15.75"w, 9.25"d, 6.75lbs (for shipping purposes only)
