Hughes Ltd & Sons Ltd. 59 Fenchurch St, London",(founded 1828), this example numbered 891 and used in plotting a ships position, housed in a felt lined hardwood presentation case with an exterior plate marked "The Incorporated Thames Nautical Training College, H.M.S. Worcester, Port of London, Good Conduct, 2nd Prize, Awarded to Reginald Douglas Beard, Midsummer 1906" (Lieutenant Commander, Retired, 1889-1961, the box approx. 2.5"h, 16"w, 6.5"d; (1) Brass Parallel Rolling Rule, marked Instruments Limited, Ottawa, Canada, used for course plotting on maps without changing the orientation of the map, housed in a hardwood case approx. 2"H, 19"w, 3.75"d, for shipping total of both approx. 8.85lbs
