Hungarian Art Nouveau earthenware vase, designed by Sandor Apati Abt (1870-1916) for Zsolnay, from the "Gres" series, early 20th c., incised geometric design, the base in "eosin" luster glaze, raised round wafer with impressed mark, intact with two hairlines at rim, approx 4.5"h, 7.25"diam, 3.5lbs
