(lot of 2) Framed ink drawings on paper, attributed to Mark Cole Greene (American, active in Texas, 1955-2005), unsigned, including: (1) Texas Sky with Sun and Clouds, retaining Pollock Gallery "Self-Taught Masters of American Art from Important Private Collections in Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio" 2011 exhibition label verso, small tear in sheet near upper left corner, (1) Spoked and Spotted Wheel, each sheet: approx 24"h, 18"w, overall: approx 28"h, 22"w, 13.75lbs total Note: Mark Cole Greene (American, active in Texas, 1955-2005) was the son of renowned Texas writer and columnist A.C. Greene (Alvin Carl Greene Jr., Texas, 1923-2002). Due to a birth injury, Mark was born with unique specialties and challenges. His artwork combines both lived experiences and visions formed "out of his own brain-powered mind." He is represented by Webb Gallery, Waxahachie/ Fort Davis, Texas.
