French Transitional style inlaid petite commode, early 20th c., having shaped marble top, over conforming case fitted with two drawers, with diamond-patterned parquetry and banded trim, rising tapering cabriole legs, ending on sabots,small repair to rear corner of marble, (one) rear leg intact with stable old restoration/reinforcement, very small veneer chips, approx 30"h, 23.25"w, 13.75"d Provenance: The estate and interior design collection of Gay Ratliff (Martha Gay Kokernot Ratliff, Austin, Texas, 1942-2023)
